Orient-Express

Come on board for an unforgettable journey.

The Orient Express programming travels through greater Eastern-European countries and gives you a unique occasion: an encounter with other cultures, different ways of living, a tête-à-tête with the diversity and richness of Europe by going beyond all the artistic and geographic borders.
This year, the Czech Republic is honored and will present its New Wave through a retrospective and a conference. But the whole young eastern cinema will be on of the party with 13 films from Eastern-European countries, among which several previews. The Eastern-European documentaries can as well be seen as a social and political lesson, sometimes serious, sometimes with lighter subjects, sometimes so far from us, often so close.
And as we do each year, we propose our audience to rediscover a event film. Adapted at the Opéra Bastille last June, we have the great opportunity to present Time of the Gypsies by Emir Kusturica.

The departure is imminent.
