The life of two brothers is suddenly upset by the reappearing of their father, who they remember only through 10-year-old pictures. Is he really their father? Why is he back after so many years? The children will be searching for answers to their questions on a far and isolated island, traveling with this man they don't know anything about. The stern beauty of Northern lakes and forests add a particular dimension to the drama that is displayed in front of our eyes. During the filming, I did not see the plot as an everyday story, not even like a social history. In many respects, the film is related to a intentional mythological look on human life.
