This wonderful documentary elates the sumptuous music of world-famous gypsy musicians, while intertwining moving scenes of their daily life in their homeland and their social environment. Filmed by the documentary icon Albert Maysles, the scenes take place during the tour of the Gypsy Caravan through Europe and the USA, as well as in Spain, Macedonia, Romania and India, under the direction of Jasmine Dellal, whose recent feature film American Gypsy which has been unanimously greeted for its great portrait of an American-gypsy family facing a decade of ordeals.
