International competition

The international competitive selection of short films is proposed by Aye Aye Film Festival since 2003. Several series include more than thirty short films. Each series is assembled on a common theme.
In 2009 more than 1300 films from all over Europe - along with the furthest of it's corners, as Russia, Turkey, and even leaving Europe for Israel... - participated in the competition.

The team of Aye Aye VO is currently working on the 16th edition of the festival for the year 2010. Until now, we have already received more than 600 films and we continue to receive more !

Regional program: Cocktail Lorraine et Grande Région

This cocktail is meant to become the meeting point for the professionals of the Grande Région - Lorraine, Sarre, Luxembourg, Wallonie and German-speaking community of Belgium.
The program of "Grande Région" is created in succession of several years' cooperation with the "Saarlandiches Filmburo", film festival "Max Ophuls Preis", the Nancy Goethe Institut, association of the directors of the Lorraine region "SAFIRE", association of the producers of the Lorraine region "APAL", as well as with various education centres of "Grande Région" (Institut Européen de cinéma et d'audiovisuel in Nancy, fine arts colleges of Nancy, Metz and Epinal, Louvain la Neuve University and others).
